Chante Wheeler has always possessed a passion and focus on housing stability and economic mobility after experiencing poverty and homelessness first hand in Oakland, CA. She moved to Los Angeles for an opportunity to manage the Crisis Bridge program working with homeless Veterans at United States Veterans Initiative in Inglewood for five years. She wanted to reach people on another level and began working at Amity Foundation in Los Angeles as a second job working with as a Program Manager over the D2- Jail In Reach Program that is affiliated with Los Angeles County Jails.
Her passion has made her want to take it a step further in reviving the streets of Los Angeles County. Ms. Wheeler has worked closely with individuals facing various challenges and she began not only identify issues but developed solutions to eradicate the barriers faced by this population. She developed Wheeler Management creating a second chance solutions for individuals that are homeless.
